Chapter 14: The Truth that Came to Light
The article described in detail how Natalia had replaced Irina on the stage many times. In the end, the reputation was given to Irina’s instead. It was TY entertainment who mixed up both truth and lie and even threw out Natalia as a shield for Irina.
The topic of pity for Natalia quickly became hot. Everyone felt that what Natalia did was not fair to her. All these years of sacrifice was actually for the benefit of others. Vasili and Irina were like heartless demons, they unscrupulously exploited Natalia’s value and now abandoned her.
This time, it was obvious that Natalia was the one who had tolerated and shouldered all the blame for the sake of love.
In comparison, the faces of the man and woman were disgusting.
“Oh God, Natalia is really too pitiful. We misunderstood her. I’m really sorry.”
“Irina’s acting skills are really wasted if she doesn’t act. However, such a vicious heart is only worthy of being tied to the Holy Cross and cursed by tens of thousands of people!”
The reporters were interviewing Irina when they suddenly realized that the situation had reversed. They immediately questioned Irina, “Miss Irina, are the rumors on the internet true? Was this photo really taken here?”
Irina looked at the phone that the reporters handed over in confusion. Her face instantly turned as pale as paper.
The pitiful words that had been used to slander Natalia just now were like a loud slap on Irina’s face.
“This is a misunderstanding, it’s slander. I will definitely file a legal complaint and pursue the responsibility of the rumor-monger.”Irina tried her best to maintain her composure.
However, this group of crazy reporters was not easy to get rid of. Each and every one of them had fiery eyes as they compared the ward with the photos carefully. The more this was the case, the more Irina panicked.
“I feel a little uncomfortable. Please leave!”
The reporters were naturally unwilling. “Miss Irina, are you feeling guilty hence you want to get rid of us?
“I don’t want to answer your questions.”Irina turned around and covered her face in the blanket. Her assistant called for the bodyguards and finally cleared out the ward. A script that was designed for Natalia suddenly became her farce.
Irina’s hands trembled as she called Vasili. Vasili had just received the news and was furious.
When he saw the video of Irina facing the reporters with a face full of guilt, he was even more flustered and exasperated. That performance was only short of admitting that the leak was true.
“Idiot, where did your usual cleverness go?”
Vasili cursed angrily. The more he thought about it, the more indignant he became. “Who was the one who caused this? I told you early on not to go too far. Now, I want to see where you will end up!”
After hanging up Irina’s call, Vasili was not as calm as he was just now.
Such a scandal would not only ruin Irina, but also his own reputation. It would also implicate TY entertainment, and he might even lose Natalia forever.
Natalia’s identity as a noble had saved him a lot of trouble in the business world. Although she had been abandoned by the family, she was still the youngest daughter who was once the most favored in the family. This matter could not be changed.
Now that she had suffered such grievance, perhaps even Natalia’s family would come out to support her. IF so, his ruin was not far away..
Unable to bear it, Vasili took out his cell phone and dialed Natalia’s number.
“Get in the car.”With just two simple words, Natalia could still recognize Alex’s voice at once.
She looked back at Alex who was sitting in the business car, and a smile immediately crept onto her face.
He really came to pick her up personally.
Natalia jogged into the car and sat beside Alex. All the gossip in the outside world seemed to have nothing to do with her.
Her phone kept vibrating, which caught Alex’s attention.
“Aren’t you going to pick it up, Mrs. Bruch?”It was an obvious joke, which made Natalia Blush.
The words “Mrs. Bruch”coming out of Alex’s mouth were like magic, which made Natalia’s heart jump with joy.
Natalia laughed in a low voice, “It’s better not to let some annoying people ruin the mood at this time.”
