Chapter 38: Jian Rushi’s First Love
Tang Ge thought there must be something odd about Helian Ze. “Theoretically, no man can resist the temptation from such a beautiful woman like you.”
Jian Rushi began to question her own charm, “Are you sure? He’s almost impervious to my seductive behavior.”
As Jian Rushi’s best friend, Tang Ge felt that she had to get Jian’s self-confidence up. So she tapped Jian on the shoulder and said sincerely, “Look at your ample bosom, slender waist and long legs. Although we are both women, I will instantly fall for you if you try to seduce me, to say nothing of men.”
Her voice was loud and the cafe was quiet, so many guests turned to look at them. Tang Ge was dressed like a handsome guy. The onlookers misunderstood that Tang Ge and Jian Rushi had a dubious relationship.
Jian Rushi ignored their curious gaze and rested her chin on one fist, sighing and moaning.
She couldn’t understand why Helian Ze firmly refused to make love with her. Even if he suffered from premature ejaculation, she wouldn’t blame him. Anyway, he shouldn’t conceal his ailment and refuse to consult the doctor. Everyone should get prompt treatment when he or she was ill.
‘Or… Maybe he has suddenly changed his mind, and now he wants to end our physical relationship and be my soulmate only?’ Jian Rushi thought.
When Jian Rushi and Tang Ge were lost in deep thought, someone in the cafe suddenly called out, “Daisy!”
The name sounded familiar, but Jian Rushi could not immediately place it. The next second, Jian Rushi’s first love, Mr. Xiang appeared in front of her. He had dyed green hair.
Jian Rushi was stunned.
“Mr. Xiang?” she said.
Tang Ge was looking up and down the man. On hearing his name, Tang Ge immediately recalled that he was Jian Rushi’s first boyfriend and also her high school classmate, who had betrayed their love. But Tang Ge hadn’t expected that he would be such a man who looked odd with green hair. She puffed out her cheeks and refrained from laughing.
Jian Rushi smiled in embarrassment. She had been green in judgement during her salad days.
Mr. Xiang tugged on her arm and kept talking about what had happened in their adolescent years.
“Ah, my Daisy, do you still remember that I once took you to the hairdressing shop? At that time, I asked you to change your hairstyle because I wanted to make you our school’s famous star…”
With that, Mr. Xiang tossed back his green hair. Green was his favorite color because it was a symbol of nature. Every time he tossed his hair, he felt free.
Jian Rushi got goose bumps all over. She turned to Tang Ge and found that her best friend was looking on with a teasing smile. Jian Rushi had an impulse to put a hat on Tang Ge’s head so as to block her view.
Not only Tang Ge, but also other people in the cafe were looking at Jian Rushi. After all, Mr. Xiang, who was standing beside her, was quite eye-catching.
“Er… You must be busy. Maybe we can talk about old days another time.” Jian Rushi tactfully expressed that she didn’t want to chat with him anymore.
Mr. Xiang didn’t seem to understand what she really meant. With a smile, he said, “Okay. Let’s get together later. Please give me your cell phone number.”
Jian Rushi kept silent, wondering how to refuse him.
Mr. Xiang started talking in an exaggerated way about the rumors of Jian Rushi’s high school days. Jian Rushi resolutely gave him her cell phone number, just hoping that he could shut up.
After getting her number, Mr. Xiang said, “I broke up with her.”
It took Jian Rushi a long while to understand who Mr. Xiang was talking about. It was Jian Rushi’s one-time best friend, an angelic bitch.
“She betrayed me and went over to my sworn enemy.”
“Er, I feel sorry for you.”
“It doesn’t matter. I’m not at all sad.” Mr. Xiang tossed his shiny green hair and continued, “Everything is the best arrangement. Now we’ve met again. It must be fate.”
Mr. Xiang’s eyes were shining oddly. He looked eagerly at Jane as if she were a piece of delicious roasted meat. “Daisy, please be my girlfriend. I’m now the most distinguished person in my clan. I can buy you beer and fried chicken, and even give you a bottle of Liushen Florida Water as a gift…”
