161 Fourth-turn — Wraith Controller—3

Dean McKenzie estimated that the trade up next would be the biggest he’s had with the Giant Serpent Tribe so far.
This was something that mattered a great deal to Dean McKenzie!
Soon after, following his promotion, Dean McKenzie returned to the Land of
Bone to test his new powers with Doggy Two and the others.
Once he had gotten the hang of his new abilities, he realized that after his fourth-turn, his magic strength was added to all of his skills.
This meant that Dean McKenzie could easily cause three or four million damage by casually shooting a Bone Spear, now strengthened with increased Magic Strength and amplified by the effects of [Bone Control].
Moreover, all of Dean McKenzie’s skill levels saw a significant rise due to the legacy he received from Crohn, which caused his battle strength to skyrocket.
In addition to forgetting to let Old Four remove the Guardian Shield, Dean McKenzie and Old Four ended up easily defeating everyone else together.
After the battle, Dean McKenzie felt a bit light-headed. He had Old Four remove the Guardian Shield and asked Doggy Two and his gang to battle once more.
However, as soon as Old Four unlocked the Guardian Shield, Dean McKenzie was hit in the back of the head by Old Eight.
Old Eight had a thrill in his Pupil Fire eyes as he struck. It was clear he had accidentally discovered something new and exciting.
His blow caused Dean McKenzie to kneel in defeat.
Dean McKenzie was not ready to accept defeat. He came at them again, first activating [Bone Armor].
His Bone Armor had been upgraded to level 3 and could provide nearly ten million Defense points, a minimum of two and a half million points guaranteed.
Once the armor was activated, Dean Dean McKenzie claimed invincibility.
Then, Old Nine shot a Bone Arrow, shaking his Bone Armor, and Old Seven lunged at him with a Fearless Charge. His spear pierced Dean McKenzie’s lung.
Even though Dean McKenzie managed to take Old Seven down with Bone Resistance, he still lost the confrontation within two rounds.
A disgruntled Dean McKenzie repeatedly fought a few more matches against his skeletons afterward.
Dean McKenzie was formidable in a one-on-one duel, but he began losing his edge when he had to fight off two opponents at the same time. When pitted against three skeletons, Dean McKenzie was evidently overpowered.
And all this while Dean McKenzie was the first to activate his shield.
If Old Eight’s first attack was allowed, he would be able to take Dean McKenzie out right away.
If Old Four was also allowed to make a move, his Guardian Shield would send
Dean McKenzie into a spin.
As the battle progressed, Dean McKenzie felt more and more stifled and frustrated.
In the end, he resorted to pulling out his fourth-turn [Flight Skill] and learned it as his third non-Necromancer class skill.
Skill: Flight (Fourth-turn)
Level: 1
Consumption: 1000 per second
Effect: Allows the user to fly up to 500 meters high and move at 50% of their spiritual power speed in the air.
This was the base attribute of the Flight Skill.
Dean McKenzie flew high into the sky, moving at a speed that matched his 50,000 Agility points, and turned himself into a humanoid fighter jet.
Then, Doggy Two and the others watched in awe. Only Old Nine and Old Six could barely reach him, but Dean McKenzie suppressed them effortlessly. Unleashing a barrage of firepower from the air, Dean McKenzie scattered his skeleton soldiers, leaving them in disarray. After taking out his frustration, Dean McKenzie returned from the sky and ended this round of combat testing.
Overall, Dean McKenzie was satisfied.
He was strong, and so were the skeletons under his command.
Just the combination of Doggy Two and Old Four could probably give a six-turn a run for their money.
Of course, that was just Dean McKenzie’s speculation. The real outcome would only be revealed in a real battle.
“We’ll have to try it out when we get a chance!”
Then, filled with satisfaction, Dean McKenzie left the Land of Bone.
After successfully completing the Promotion Trial and advancing to fourth-turn, there were no significant changes in Dean McKenzie’s routine in the Giant Serpent Tribe.
After all, Dean McKenzie had Mrs. Hawkin’s black Crystal Ball in his possession.
To others, his attribute points appeared to remain the same. No one knew that Dean McKenzie had undergone his promotion right under their noses within the Giant Serpent Tribe.
Time passed by quickly. In what seemed like the blink of an eye, it was the third day since Dean McKenzie’s successful promotion.
On this day, the Giant Serpent Tribe finally had everything ready.
A short old man from the Giant Serpent Tribe respectfully presented Dean McKenzie with the goods list.

As soon as Dean McKenzie held the list in his hands, they couldn’t help but tremble slightly.
He had expected the Giant Serpent Tribe’s trade to surprise but, he hadn’t anticipated the extent of it.
All of their offerings were of Excellent grade or higher, and the quantities wildly exceeded Dean McKenzie’s expectations.
Of course, the prices also surpassed what Dean McKenzie had anticipated. But even though the prices were high, Dean McKenzie had no intention of haggling. Instead, he was curious how the Giant Serpent Tribe had gotten their hands on so many templates.
To his query, the short old man explained, “There are several Wraith Caverns in the South Barbarian Mountain Range. The surrounding tribes have been grinding there for hundreds of years. This is their stockpile from those years. Our leader personally negotiated and purchased the stock from those tribes..”
